Fixed assets

Fixed asset register software

Keep a register of what the business owns, and let AvrioBooks work out the depreciation.

Equipment, vehicles and other long-lasting purchases are not expenses in the usual sense. They are assets that lose value over time. AvrioBooks keeps a register of each asset with its cost, date and depreciation method, runs depreciation and posts the entries to your books. A fixed asset schedule shows cost, depreciation and net book value for every asset.

Fixed assets are on the Standard plan and above. Tax relief on equipment (capital allowances) follows its own rules, so ask your accountant. See year-end tax planning.
