What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, do the same job. They help a site remember you, keep you signed in, understand how it is used and make it work properly. This policy explains which ones avriobooks.com and our app at app.avriobooks.com use and the choices you have. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
The cookies we use
Essential cookies
These are needed for the service to work and cannot be switched off in our systems. They keep you signed in to the app, protect forms against forgery and remember your security settings and your cookie choices.

Analytics cookies
With your consent where it is required, we use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the website, for example which pages are popular and where visitors come from. This information is aggregated and helps us improve the site.

Chat cookies
Our live chat is provided by Tawk.to. It uses cookies to keep a conversation going while you move between pages and to recognise returning visitors. Chat loads only after you start to interact with the page.
Scheduling cookies
If you select Book a demo, we load Calendly so you can choose a time. Calendly may set its own cookies, which are governed by its own policy. Nothing is loaded from Calendly unless you click.
Payments
When you choose a plan you are taken to Stripe’s secure checkout. Stripe sets cookies on its own pages for fraud prevention and to process your payment. We do not control them. See Stripe’s policies for details.
Fonts
We load fonts from Google Fonts. This does not set cookies, but your browser makes a request to Google that includes your IP address.
Managing your choices
- Our banner. Use the cookie banner to accept or decline optional cookies, and to change your mind later.
- Your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop you signing in to the app.
- Google Analytics. You can install Google’s browser add-on to opt out of Analytics across all websites.
Why this matters
Declining optional cookies does not stop you using AvrioBooks. The essential cookies still work, so you can sign in, use every feature and manage your books. We simply collect less information about how the website is used.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
